2. 자동차 필름용 PET 소재
기본적으로 폴리에스테르 필름의 업그레이드 버전으로 PVC보다 더 얇고 유연합니다. 특히 메탈릭/펄 색상이 잡티 없이 균일하게 표현되는 정밀한 색상 재현이 가장 큰 장점입니다. 그러나 보호 성능이 약해 일상적인 얼룩과 기본적인 자외선만 차단할 수 있으며 자가 치유 능력이 없고 긁힘에 대한 저항력이 떨어집니다. 수명은 약 2-3년이며 햇빛에 노출된 후에도 가장자리가 부서질 수 있습니다. 가격대는 400-800 달러로 단기간의 색상 변경 효과를 추구하고 운전 환경이 좋은 사용자에게 적합합니다.
3. TPH PPF 소재
실제로는 PVC(가소제와 폴리우레탄의 혼합물)의 개량 버전으로, 제조업체에서 "TPU와 같은 성능"을 가진 것으로 홍보하는 경우가 많습니다. PVC보다 유연성이 뛰어나고 부분적으로 가장자리를 감싸는 구조가 가능하지만 화학적 안정성이 부족하여 가소제의 침전으로 인해 1년 후 접착층이 파손될 수 있으며(최대 30%의 컬링 속도), 저온에서 경화 및 균열이 발생하기 쉽다는 단점이 있습니다. 자가 치유 기능이 불완전하고 (70 ℃ 이상의 고온이 필요함) 황변에 대한 저항력이 약합니다. 가격은 $555에서 $1100까지 다양하며 수명은 약 2~4년으로 장기적인 가성비가 TPU보다 낮습니다.
4. 랩 필름용 PVC 소재
가장 기본적인 폴리염화비닐 필름은 저렴한 가격(차량 전체에 $138-555)과 풍부한 색상(단색에서 만화 패턴까지)의 장점이 있습니다. 그러나 이 소재는 단단하고 부서지기 쉬워 시공 중에 여러 조각을 접착해야 하며 가장자리가 먼지가 쌓이고 뒤틀리기 쉽습니다. 매우 약한 보호 기능: 내후성 없음(1-2년 후 심한 변색), 긁힘 방지 기능 없음, 자외선 조사 후 가루가 발생하기 쉽습니다. 필름을 뜯을 때 접착제가 남고 자동차 페인트가 손상 될 가능성이 높기 때문에 단기 색상 변경에 1-2 년 만 필요한 예산 사용자에게 적합합니다.
