Stretch and rebound test: Cut a strip of sample and stretch it. Genuine TPU PPF film can stretch by more than 50% and quickly rebound to its original shape without breaking; while fake TPU/PVC will turn white, rebound slowly, or break after stretching.
Burning odor test: Ignite the sample. Real Aliphatic TPU PPF burns with a yellow flame, emitting an odor similar to alcohol or candles, and the ash is a viscous liquid; fake TPU/PVC produces black smoke and a pungent plastic odor when burned, and the ash is hard and brittle.
Scratch self-healing test: Scratch the surface lightly with a key. Minor scratches on genuine Aliphatic TPU PPF will gradually disappear under hot water or sunlight; scratches on fake TPU cannot be repaired.
Adhesive layer performance test: Peel off the adhesive paper. A good adhesive layer will not lose its adhesive strength after being adhered to a flat surface for more than 50 times; a poor adhesive layer will lose its adhesive strength after being adhered for just a few times.
